Yes there are alot of better Qb's than Vince Young. Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Brett Favre, Carson Palmer, Donovan McNabb etc..
As for as long term goes, im not sold on Young yet. All he did was run the Shotgun Option, and how many highlights of him did we see THROWING the ball. All he did was run, a bigger version of Mike Vick. If you noticed he wasnt that great anyway. It took a colassal meltdown by NY Giants for him to win, the offense couldnt even produced a 100 yards against the Jaguars, he let a 26-0 lead against the ravens dissapear,and last but not least, his "defining" run against the Texans, look at the stats, 2 TDs but also 3 picks during that game. Those are not quality performances for a QB
Bottom Line: The guy needs to improve on being a QUARTERBACK, not an athlete before we can mention him with the likes of Manning, Brady, and Favre.

By what standards? QBs in the league at the moment- Yeah quite a few. Even if you go by lack of supporting cast then Tom Brady was, has WRs now so can't really put him on that list. If you go by history then lots. If you go by Running QBs then right now I would still put McNabb above him, if only because Young will break down and start getting injured the same way in a few years so not counting the injury issue. If you go by history then trust me Young isn't going to be Randall Cunningham. If you go by BLACK QBs then I'd say McNabb and McNair are better. If you go by history then Warren Moon is probably one of the best ever. Yeah Young ISN'T the best yet or ever. It has only been ONE YEAR, give him time to build a REAL resume.

Any player or any quarterback? Manning, Brady, Rivers, Brees, Palmer, McNabb, McNair, Bulger, Delhomme, Pennington, Roethlisberger, Kitna, Garcia... all better. Bad awareness, limited accuracy. Let him prove himself as a passer first. Don't consider him the best just because of all the 4th quarter comebacks against great teams like um... the Texans and Giants.

Yes, Right now there is Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, and Carson Palmer. But, in years to come he will grow to be a better NFL player. He will be in contention for the MVP. Who knows, maybe he could be a Hall of Famer.

He's in the top ten but not Number One.

some people will say yes but my opinion is that mike vick could probaly match him. but vince is one of the toughest qbs to find. who do u kno (besides McNabb and Vick) that is mobile, fast, and has a cannon? nobody.
