I'm only 15 and i've noticed that i have many red lines accross my butt. I am not at all over weight, and am considered quite slender. I have not had any rapid weight gain/loss.... I guess my butt may have gotten a bit bigger, but i dont think enough to cause as many marks as i have. Is there anything I can do to get rid of the awful marks?!

They will fade with time. They are not from being fat, they are from genetics. Most people's skin is not able to grow and stretch at the same rate as the rest of the body, thus they end up with stretch marks during puberty as their bodies grow.

Its normal. Mederma may help give you quicker results. Keeping your skin moisturized, all over, helps keep skin as elastic as it can possibly be, which cuts down on future stretch marks.

Cocoa butter and olive oil products are excellent, as they are a great match for our skin and are absorbed the best.

Well you may have not noticed any weight loss or gain but it could be due to one of them hun. Not all creams, oils and solutions work but Bio Oil is good for use on old and new stretch marks and also scarring and many other things, you could try that but otherwise try Butter Oil that is supposed to work aswell. Good luck and dont worry about them.

Lots of coco butter, pregnant women use before, during and after to rid stretch marks. Also check with a dermotoligist to see if something may be prescribed. In meantime, coco butter has been the old cure-all.

It doesn't necessarily mean an excessive weight loss or gain but if you lost weight faster or gained weight faster than your body can handle, then you will get strecth marks. Unhealthy foods usually go to your bottom also so try to stay away from a lot of those foods if you can. :)

If they are across, it could be from a rapid growth spurt, I have the same things on my hips. Stretch marks go the opposite way of the expansion, so if they are across, the expansion was up and down, and vice versa.

Oh you must've had a growth spurt! Normal for your age.
Stretch marks are a *****, you may be able to reduce some of the redness with cocoa butter. They will eventually fade.

honestly, my gf has some kind of stretches in her buttocks. she got it when she was at your age, she is 28 now and the marks didn't go. all her life she never got a chance to wear bikini or short shorts. but it doesn't make sense to me. i love her just the way she is.

stretch marks go away with time, anyone can get them, it just depends on if your skin does well with stretching- obviously yours doesn't cause you got the marks- there are creams that can minimize their appearance
