Is pooo supposed to float or is it supposed to sink?

Oh my god...I love this question. actually I saw a special on Oprah (lol) about this. Either way is okay. It depends on what you're eating if it will sink or float. It's the poops that are mostly liquid that you don't want!!!

Sinking is more healthy. It is also supposed to be s shaped or at least c shaped.
If is is floating, you are not processing enough out of what you are eating to have a healthy digestive tract and healthy body. Floating feces may also mean that you have an infection or tapeworm or are eating too much junk food and fatty food that your body cannot process correctly.
Every living being has to urinate and deficate, so don't be worried about this being too personal.

I can't believe I am answering this question.As a nurse of over twenty years, it should sink.It if it floats it has to much fluid in it and there probably isn't enough fiber and protein in the diet. I have seen thousands of "poops"in my life time more then I really would like to remember and most do sink.

I think it's supposed to sink. If it floats then it has too much fatty content in it. If it sinks, you're alright. If it sticks to the toilet and leaves skidmarks then you don't have enough fiber in your diet.

haha! umm...you got some balls to ask this question, some folks would be shy.
depending on the food you ate, i feel if it was solid its going to sink...usually, yea. Sinking i think is the right one, when it floats, perhaps you need to eat more solid food.
