Pressure regulator is bad -- dumping fuel back into the tank---put a fuel pressure gauge on the line after the regulator and check the pressure. Or pinch the return line hose with a pliers or visegrip and see what results.

fuel pump may be worn out and not putting enough pressure in line. first check fuel filters.

would desire to be the timing chain is worn. would desire to be that the spark plug wires are undesirable. it would desire to be a sort of issues. yet, to me, curiously like there's a vacumn leak! Ether interior the intake manifold, or the vacumn strengthen hose to the distrubitor.
