think its ironic how some ppl stereotype all americans as being "so and so" yet they are being ignorant themselves in generalizing an entire nation...i dont see the logic, i just dont...i happen to love ppl in general, nationality is irrelevant...i know theres a lot of "brits vs. americans" going on...euro guys are sexy as hell - killer accents from england to greece! why cant we all recognize that every country has problems and work together to help one another...

ON THE OTHER HAND... i definitely understand where they get these stereotypes from - dumbass americans vote a dumbass monkey into presidency twice! (i blame the older generation because they make up the largest portion of the population) cant wait for '08- i can vote! then theres the kyoto plan, rediculous "war on terrorism", foreign relations, etc.
i love my country - IM PRO-AMERICAN. IM ANTI-BUSH, ANTI-LETS **** UP THE WORLD FOR OUR BENEFIT...duh.

Because the US keeps making the same mistake that we makes more than 30 years ago. We keep invading other country. Sometimes we think (in our head) that we're helping but we are there uninvited.

If we are so kind for helping one country, don't go to another country and kill their people. We just shoot ourselves in the foot. No wonder we don't get enough credits for doing the right thing.

I don't understand what we're trying to accomplish for invading Iraq and wonder why other countries hating us. Just put yourselves in their shoes.

I understand and respect your point of view and actually wish all americans were like you. I used to lived in the states for 3 years so i know a little about how is life there and how difficult they can be. I think the biggest enemy american people face is ignorance, as other have said, many americans don' t even consider a world outside the states, they do not give themself the opportunity to know other cultures unless this other cultures come to them, that's why I was asked there if there were universities in my country, or if we have cable TV and that kind of things, that's really sad an ignorant, i am sure they act like that not because they are bad people but because they don't know anything else, once again i am talking about some americans not all of them... in the other countries I have experienced really stupid behaviour from american people, like trying to pay with american dollars in London and then get mad showing a quite arrogant manner when they are asked to pay in british pounds, or make fun of mexico, canada and the UK referring them as the 51st, 52nd and 53rd states... that kind of things do noy help at all and they are not funny, so I guess if americans would try to be in foreigners shoes they might understand better. I have many american friends and they are great people so is not all of them.

There are many people from around the world on Yahoo Answers. Americans, particularly the USA as a government, are not widely popular around the world unless someone wants our help or money.

It is very simple. The world as a whole sees the hypocrites of our society running the show. Politicians, religious leaders, big business, they are all hypocrites. And the world sees this and laughs and point fingers and say "what a bunch of hypocrites"

That is the "why" of the anti-american sentiment world wide.

Ok, people...see what happens when the liberals stepped in and made it into law that you cannot correct your children? You have ignorant little brats like this one without any respect for her elders or for her leaders. She states that she "loves everybody" and "loves" her country, yet she turns around and makes utterly ignorant, trashy statements like this. The only "dumb@ss monkey" around here little girl is you, posting your stupidity in public. Go back to school, learn how to spell and not be a hypocrite - maybe next time I'll take your crap seriously. Gawd, youre ignorant as H3LL!!

i love America but our president Monkey oh i mean George Bush pisses me off. he is stupid and he's supposed to be the one representing us.

i'd rather be a "liberal" than a republican.
let's face it Bush is dumb, he was a straight c student and i bet he only got those slightly passing grades because his father was president.
