No.
Its the shiites use of Al Takiyah.
And no doubt you are a shiite to ask this boring question over over again.
It was the great Oriental Imam Ash-Shafi...who said "I have not seen among the heretics a people more famous for falsehood than the Raafidite Shi"

I don't think he knew, but so what? You can't believe anything out of Washington, Republican or Democrat, much less Bush's White House.
If he did know, and it's not inconceivable either, than he should be given the same treatment Richard M. Nixon got: his name being made synonymous with "a crook," despite a presidency that chaired the Paris Peace Talks, having mined Hanoi Harbor in 1972 and effectively ended the hostilities within several months, and opened China to the west that same year.
Great things spoiled by a sloppy little burglary in a garish hotel.

The U.S. government denied that it was flying U-2 spy planes over the U.S.S.R. until Nikita Krushchev shot one down and displayed it for the world to see;
The U.S. military has never satisfactorily explained the events that occured in Roswell, New Mexico in 1947 - at least not the satisfaction of those who were alive and witnessed what went on;
There is evidence to suggest that Franklin D. Roosevelt and Winston Churchil were aware of the attack on Pearl Harbor, but allowed it to happen so that the U.S.A. would have a legitimate excuse to enter World War II;
The Warren Commission sealed all documents from the Kennedy assassination for 75 years. It will be 2038 before those documents are made public; by then, most of us who were alive to witness the event will be dead and gone;
The U.S. government LIED about our battleships being attacked in the Gulf of Tonkin, which led us into the Vietnam War;
The U.S. military claimed there would be few 'ill effects' on Vietnam veterans from Agent Orange. Today many of those veterans are still suffering consequences from being exposed to that chemical mess;
The White House denied any knowledge of a third-rate burglary in the Watergate Hotel until two enterprising young reporters dug out 'the truth' and forced the resignation of a U.S. President;
The CIA denied the existence of 'secret' prisons;
The Bush administration LIED to the people and to the Congress about 'weapons of mass destruction' in Iraq because it was obsessed with attacking that sovereing nation that in no way threatened, provoked or attacked the United States;
The Secretary of Defense and his Commander-In-Chief denied any knowledge of torture and sexual abuse at Abu Ghraib. Yet, when it was revealed, only a few 'grunts' were ever court-martialed. The leaders 'at the top' were not charged, and were often promoted to remove themselves from the entire incident;
WHY is it so impossible to believe that the Bush administration KNEW ABOUT - or perhaps even participated in - the 9-11 tragedy when there is so much credible 'evidence' that plausibly ties the incident to the White House??
We are a free people that live in a free society. We are Constitutionally expected to be skeptical toward our government. Our forefathers came here in the first place to avoid an oppressive and tyrannical government, and to escape religious persecution. We have the right - and the duty - to doubt our government, and to not believe every thing it tells us. That's part of being a patriot. That's part of preserving our liberty. -RKO- 05/26/07

of course no one wanted 9/11 to happen, but maybe they just didnt do anything about it, and after it happened, they didnt really mind becuase now the government can control us more. They can put restrictions on everything now and say, "we have to because of 9/11"... i dont know... just a thought.

He absolutely did know along with Condi Rice. Ben Laden sent them a memo stating he was going to fly planes into tall buildings. This memo was read on TV at a Congressional Meeting so most people know about it.
As George Bush is inept as a President he did not know what to do and therefore did nothing.
As he is also inept at handling a war that he was warned he could not win, he should be impeached by his own party.

OMG,you really believe that? Better go back a few years and ask Bill Clinton why he didn't go after the terrorists after the FIRST World Trade Center bombing.............or did he know too? Why would we have any President that would allow the worst attack on the U.S. since Pearl Harbor? Maybe FDR knew about that one,too! And if that was true,what would or should a President have done?

No that's not true, CIA knew that Bin Laden was planning big attack, but they didn't know enough details. They didn't know al Qaeda planned to crash planes into WTC.
So lot of people knew Bin Laden was going to attack, but have no clue exactly what he planned to do.
If Bush knew about it. He would have stopped it. After all stopping big attack like that will turn him into big hero.

Utter rubbish. It's an embarrasment to this country that talk show freaks like Rosie Odonnel and Roseann Barr keep trotting it out.
PS-regarding the above--I thought most of you folks assert that it was completely an inside job and Bin Ladin had nothing to do with it. Get your wacko stories straight.
