Can you not go to the antenatal department and explain whats going on and see if they check you over
It might be due to stress though its not easy having a little one in hospital (i know from my own ) it might be your bodies way of telling you to relax not easy i know when your worried
Hope you little girl is ok!
Now try relax a bit put those feet up
Good Luck!

Ok calm down. Ectopics usually hit during your 4-6 weeks. If it was, it would knock you on your *** worst than a bad miscarriage. They tend to creep up on people. It feels like the baby is already kicking you, but you know that is impossible at 6 weeks. I had mine in sept 06 but got pregnant again the following month with my current pregnancy. It started giving me pains that I could not walk away or drink away, like preterm labor contractions. Then with an ectopic you do blood, but panty liner first and than a lot of blood. If you are worried, put the other baby with a sitter and hit the ER. They will untrasound you and try to locate the baby on ultrasound. They can also do a BETA Blood test checking you HCG levels. If you are over 3000 then your pregnancy is fine, you should be over 10000 right now. Just sit still for a while, take a nap and it should stop bothering you. Don't jump to conclusion, it could also just be GAS.

I have been an RN for 30 years and never seen anyone miscarry from stress.
Is most of the pain on one side? Down low in abdomen or behind that shoulder blade?
There are lots of aches and pains associated with second pregnancies. We can't really be objective about how much your period cramps hurt.
Unless your pains get really bad, or you feel dizzy and faint, try not to worry until you have a reason to. Take Tylenol if
your midwife OKs it.
REASSURANCE: only about 2% of all pregnancies are ectopic.

Relax. Stress is never healthy, but as a previous answerer stated it's extremely unlikely that this alone will cause a miscarriage. If you are experiencing period-like cramps, you may be dehydrated (which can irritate your uterus). Drink some water and lie down for a while. And, if you are worried, don't wait until Thursday - you can call your midwife now! One great thing about midwives is that they are usually able to offer FAR more time to you than doctors; mine took calls from me frequently and answered all of my questions right away.

I had period like pains at 7 weeks too. It's either your uterus stretching to make room for the baby or your corpus luteum feeling a little tender :)
If this pain is combined with bleeding, than of course you should definitely go to the hospital, at the very least to get some peace of mind. I had to go in for spotting at 7 weeks--best thing ever. I got to see the baby (and the heart beat!) and it completely set my mind at ease.

You will be fine just relax the baby is really resiliant,
As for an eptopic you would know by now, you would be in absoulute agony (I know)..........I went to 6 weeks and passed out with the pain and found out it was an eptopic.....
Your probably just tense then noticing every twinge, im sure you will be fine, go take a relaxing bath and give your 2 year old a huge cuddle
good luck honey xxxxxxxxxxx

Your baby will be OK. Just relax. :o) I'm ready to bet you had your miscarriage after baby 1. It happens to a very high percentage of women, whether they know it or not (in the case of early ones, they often think it;s period).
Now your baby is OK. You could jump up and down, nothing will happen. If praying helps you, then do so, and trust in your baby. :o) It will be fine. Good luck.

aw hunny!! i managed to go to 4 months not knowing i was preg, suffering from horrendous stomach and back pains and puking left right n center!! wen i found i was preg i was worried it was eptopic cuz of the pain but atfa having my 12 week scan (n finding actually i was 16 weeks...opps) all was well! back pain was normal, and the stomach pain was just long lasting implantation pains and wher i was puking up so much!!
lol. i was puking all day long! went to work (i was self-employed installing pc systems in DEFRA in london mainly) and in the middle of a buildings bomb shelter i suddenly felt the urge to puke. i thought i'd just go sit in a quite room n it'd pass. didn't realise the office i went into was about to hold a meeting with DEFRA's head, Tony B and loads of other government heads. anyway, suddenly i figured it was no longer just a sick FEELING, but it was going to happen. now, in this part of the building u hav 2 press one button to open a door, stand in a tube n w8 4 the open door to close, then w8 for the door infront to open up to get out, all in all it took abt 30 secs. which 4 me was 2 long. i just grabbed a bin n chundered into it. feeling much better i ran off to find a new bin bag...just when i came back i wasn't allowed in the corridor cuz the meeting was taking place!!!! with my puke there n all...lovely...thats my claim to fame. i may not have been in the same room as Tony B..but my puke has. lol. (needless to say i haven't been back there...)

Its highly likely likely you're experiencing whats known as 'settling in' pains. A lot of pregnant women suffer from them. As period pains are caused by the womb contracting to shed the unneeded lining, 'settling in' pains are caused by the fertilised egg burying itself in the lining of the womb in order to grow and develop into a baby. They feel very similar to period pains, with cramps in the lower tummy and back. As long as you aren't bleeding its nothing to worry about, and you can use a warm hot water bottle on your tummy just like you wuld for period pains to alleviate this.

My doctor told me that it's not really true that you can miscarry due to stress. He said if this was true, then many more women would miscarry because all new pregnant moms are stressing out about something. Don't worry about it.
