Yes, he should stay, you'll have Robbie Keane but you won't have goals scored comfortably without him. He'll be a big loss. Champions League? Dream on.

Hahaha, Champions league next year? Do you really think so? You poor deluded soul. Why would Berbatov want to stick with the Spuds? Money talks is right, do you think a bid of 17M - 25M or so would be turned down? I hope he stays because if he was in any of the top four teams they would be immense, he's a quality player. Shame about the team he's in.
Arsenal for the title next year!
PS, I'd love to see him at Arsenal, he looks like a perfect replacement for Bergkamp.

his story goes as follows. last season there was a lot of intrest form the premier league in Berbatov. utd and another top team (not sure who though) where sending scouts out to watch him. they wanted him to either go on trial for a week or 2 or else wait untill the january window opened before going to their rspective teams.
spurs just wanted to sign him. they paid their transfer fee and he signed to them. he is quoted in the press as saying that he wants to repay spurs for their loyalty in signing him when everyone else was fathing about.
i think the guy will stay but the board might have other ideas.
i also beleve that spurs will be spending big this season as a friend of mine who knows a spurs guy has told me that jol had to prove himself over a few seasons before spurs opened up the purse strings for him. they could maybe break into the elite group at the top of the prem. hopefully at the a r s e's expense.

And...once you're in the Champions League? What happens then? Is that the extent of your ambition?
And you won't be in it next year, you'll be in it the year after...anyway, I don't know how you worked that out, Tottenham were further behind Arsenal this season and finished with 5 points less than in 05/06...you're going backwards not forwards!

i think a lot of people are beginning to realise that the rebuild at spurs is not just flash in the pan, hence our signing of bale. the next few seasons at whl are going to be exciting and who wouldnt want to be part of that. if he goes he will lose the partnership he has developed with keane. theres a great team spirit at the lane right now. he will stay for a little while i think and see out his contract. fingers crossed.

I think he will, but that depends you might part exchange him if the money is too much to resist, CL next year if he stays? you not admitting your a one man team are you? I don't think you will get CL, not because you haven't improved because you have , but the teams on top will be too strong, We'll be stronger for a start and the other three have money to burn.

his agent seems to be moving in that direction, he is saying that you never know, whereas before he was saying that berba was staying. fact is if he says he wants to go what can you do. i personally think he will stay for one more season at least.
