I would be all over that if I had the truck, engine, money to do it. I'll stick with my '07 Mustang GT for now though! haha

A small block chevy swap in an S10 is actually fairly popular. If you want to do one, a company called Stealth Conversions sells a lot of the parts you might need, like special headers to clear the steering and motor mounts.

YES-- to keep it simple the 327 has the broadest power range of ALL the small block chevys.

It would make a good combo. 327, with the right goodies; turbo 350 tranny, and a 3;70 posi (Ford 9") and hold on.

yes a lot of people would do it,that's one of Chevy's best engines right there,but that would be an easy one to do ,especially since they make a kit that comes with all the mounts and engine stands for doing this,good luck on it.

Sure.
The inner fender wells will need to be trimmed, or removed to clear the exhaust headers.
But it will fit.....
