Besides the late Rock Hudson? Or Montgomery Clift?
It isn't the industry that needs to change, it's the attitude of Marvin and Mabel Moviegoer.

There have always been A-list movie stars that were gay. Always will be too. Rock Hudson, Liberace, that guy from the Brady Bunch, Will Gear (Grandpa from the Waltons), and a lot more that I cant remember right now. Whether they ever come out or not is up to them. I dont think it will change the industry one tiny bit. There are a lot of bigots out there but they are in the minority.

I predict that you will not see this happen soon, unless he/she is outted. It does not pay at the box office to have a leading man be gay. I don't know of any men or women who have talked frankly about this who have gone much further in their careers. Rumors abound, and that doesn't seem to make an impact...but openly discussing being Gay is very costly to ones career...sad, but true.

i think if someone like brad pitt or george clooney or tom cruise etc anyone that big came out, then it would encourage more regular if not famous ppl to come out and would be great!

It hasn't changed much.
Angelina Jolie comes to mind as being "out" about her bisexuality.

I don't know, but I'd encourage them. They're generally very well-liked, and I hope they take a stand for their own beliefs.
