I only flirt with large appliances. The smaller ones are too fickle and unpredictable. I have been shooting the breeze with my air conditioning system. Thinks heated up between us this winter, but lately things have been cooling off. My refrigerator has been giving me the idea lately. It freezes whenever I walk by and doesn't move. I think that is a sign.

This is not a question of morality or loyalty. It is purely a matter of safety. Toaster ovens can be warm and welcoming to manipulation, which initially can spark your interest beyond the bounds of friend-of-a-friendship. But let me tell you first hand that this is a TRAP! At first you'll be hanging out at your friend's place all hours of the night, trumping up ridiculous excuses to come in with pop tarts and toaster strudels. Then just when you think things are heating up, you GET BURNED. Then 'ding!' and suddenly Miss Toaster Oven goes completely cold.
That T-O is your friend's own albetross to wear. Don't go there.
