x + 3/6 = 7/4

12(x) + 12(3/6) = 12(7/4)

12x + 6 = 21

12x + 6 - 6 = 21 - 6

12x = 15

12x / 12 = 15 / 12

x = 15/12

x = 1 3/12

x+3/6=7/4 multiply the both sides by 12
2( x + 3 ) = 3 x 7
2x + 6 = 21
2x = 21-6
2x = 15
x = 15/2 = 7 1/2

well to find x in x + 3/6 = 7/4, you would subtract 3/6 from both sides.

But first you must find a common denominator for 3/6 and 7/4.
3/6 can be simplified to 1/2. The common denominator for 7/4 and 1/2 is 4. so you would multiply 1/2 by 2/2 to get 2/4.

7/4 - 2/4 = 5/4.
x= 5/4

X+(3/6)=(7/4), transfer (3/6) to have
X=(7/4) - (3/6), then subtract the fractions to have
X=(42-12)/(4x6), then simplify
X=30/24

X=5/4 or 1/1/4 in fraction
X=1.25 in decimal.

x + 3/6 = 7/4
x = 7/4 - 3/6 = isolate X, by subtracting 3/6.
x = 15/12 = Solve for X.

Dear there is confision whether 6 is over 3 or (x+3). But here i am considering 6 is over 3.

x + 3/6 = 7/4
x = 7/4 - 3/6

Here we will take LCM of 4 and 6 i.e. 12.

x = (21 - 6)/12
x = 15/12
x = 5/3

I hope, it would be enough for u to understand.
