Actually there are scientists who believe in God. The two don't negate one another out. They just don't take everything in the Bible so literally. Let's also remember that a Christian is someone who follows the teachings of Christ- so this doens't necessarily mean they can't believe in science either.
On another point, assuming we can get rid of religion entirely, I still think we'd have wars and trouble among our communities.

God created the whole of all things known and unknown with one word. Man has spent many lifetimes trying to make sense out of the planet we live on.

i think people would kill more ,like back in the crusades .cause somepeople dont kill because they dont want to be punished by god .the pope would be fired so would bishops,priests ,precchers.
