dear, it is the velocity of bullet which decide its path.
1. if its velocity is greater or equal 11.2 km/s then it escapes from earth.
2. if its velocity is 8 km/s then it begins to move in circular orbit around earth.
3. if its velocity < < 8km/s then it returns back to earth.
(A) if air resistance is neglible than time of ascent is equal to time of decent.
(B) if air resistance is taken into account than time of ascent is more than time of decent.
thanks.

Obviously it will come down and if someone is unfortunate to stand below, it might cause injury. As a matter of fact, some countries have prohibited the discharge of Kalashnikovs in any direction during celebrations.
Actually the atmospheric resistance slows down the bullet much before the theoretical limits imposed by just gravity alone. So the bullet will not accelerate to its original launch velocity and might not be lethal to bystanders, but could have enough energy to injure them.

the bullet will return at this is terminal speed (the optimal velocity a given merchandise can fall at, desperate by this is weight, shape and air resistance) it won't return on a similar velocity it grow to be fired at, yet at a some distance slower velocity assuming it grow to be fired immediately upwards. if fired up at an attitude, it is going to return and forth in an arc and for this reason safeguard a number of this is forward speed, yet of direction it is going to nevertheless sluggish dramatically from air resistance. a bullet fired at recent up isn't deadly on this is return, a bullet fired up from an attitude has the means to be deadly, yet in maximum circumstances would not harm the floor (the decrease the attitude to the horizontal, the fewer this is velocity is decreased)

It would, in the absence of air resistance, eventually fall back down into the exact spot of the barrel, in the same amounty of time it took to go up, or if the bullet was shot at least 25,000 mph, it would leave the earth's gravitational pull and go one forever.

Bullet will come down after some times. This happens due to gravitational force of earth. The force applied by bullet will gradually decreases as earth applies its gravity.

A million things happen to the bullet.
You should be a bit more specific...as in talk about what aspect of the bullet do you want to find out.
Its direction, its path, its potential energy, its kinetic energy, etc.

the bullet will slow down and when it reaches its vertical limit, it will begin coming down. there is a formula thaty you can use to determine when it will hit the ground approx. , but i forgot what it was. it will not come straight down to the point where you shot it however...

Sooner or later gravity brings it to a halt (or, more correctly, it brings the vertical component of its motion to a halt) and then it falls back to Earth.
