I read profiles if I find a person whose question is a bit "out there". That's how you can sometimes firgure out who's trolling before you waste your time to answer a question.
I look at the types of questions they answer as well as what they ask. And if they seem like they aren't being for real then I either call them out or ignore them - depending on the mood I'm in.
There has been only one instance when I was tempted to contact someone, but then I came to the conclusion he was a complete idiot and decided not to waste my time.

Sometimes I read other people's profiles if I find an answer or question that I really think is interesting.
I don't usually contact people unless they contact me in some way first.

I seldom read profiles, and only contact people if they contact me first. I'm not the kind who makes first moves, I'm really shy.

No, not interested. Just want to answer as many questions as I can. Sometimes too much info is not a good thing. Leave a little mystery.

i do read profiles. I'm a very curious person. not nosy necessarily but curious. if they are from louisiana i do contact them.
