everyone ovulates differently. go get some ovulation kits at a walmart or Walgreen's (any drug store really).
follow the directions to the letter. those kits will help you figure out when your body is ovulating.
and don't get discouraged...it took my husband and i 3 yrs to get pregnant w/#3 and only 2 months to get pregnant w/#4.

Are you ovulating? Are you having sex at the right time? Those are the first two questions to answer. If you're not ovulating, you can't get pregnant. If you are ovulating but not having sex at the right time-around ovulation you can't get pregnant.
Ovulation occurs ten to sixteen days before menstruation, not fourteen days after menstruation. If your cycles are very regular, you may be able to tell when you ovulate without much effort by examining your cervical mucous which will become stretchy and clear like egg whites at your most fertile time. You can use ovulation predictor kits, which look for a hormone in your urine which rises 24 to 48 hours before ovulation, or other methods like basal body temperature (take your temperature using a basal body thermometer first thing when you wake up each day at the same time before you sit up or get out of bed or have a drink or anything else.)
If you are ovulating, and timing sex properly, it could indicate other problems, whether they're yours or your husband's. If you haven't had a preconception visit with your health care provider now would be a good time to do so.
The book Taking Charge of Your Fertility or the website fertilityfriend.com or the book Our Bodies, Ourselves has a lot of information that may help you learn more about the menstrual cycle and fertile times.

Women typically ovulate around 14 days BEFORE their next period. I have a 34 day cycle and I ovulate on day 20. Start having sex 5 days before ovulation up until the day after. If you do not have a regular period you can use ovulation predictor test that tell you about 24 hours before you ovualte.
After 1 year of trying, it is suggested that both man and woman be seen by a fertility specialist to see if there is anything going on.

Well generally speaking, you ovulate 10-14 days after the last day you bleed. Now i would personally see a fertility specialist due to your husbands age. It could be something a simple as his sperms motility (motion or swimming) is lower than a younger mans. Try taking your temp every morning before you get out of bed and chart it. This will aide you in determining your fertile days. Also another thing i would suggest is relaxing. I know its hard to because you want a baby, but relaxing will help both of you be more fertile! Good Luck!

You ovulate two weeks before you start your period. So, if you are regular you should be able to figure out when that happens. Another way a person can tell is checking your temperature because when you ovulate it rises slightly. That is when you can get pregnant if there aren't medical or genetic problems preventing it. Natural Family Planning books (the Catholic Church has a good informative program that I used to not get pregnant) have the details on all this, read up on it to plan your action.

There's not a set date when you ovulate. You have to monitor your cycles and determine it from there. They do have ovulation predictor kits you can use. You can buy them at Walmart. Most people say that you ovulate about 14 days before your expected period if you have a 28 day cycle, which I have found to not be true among many women that are TTC. Good luck!

If you have a typical period with a 28 day cycle, you are ovulating 9-14 days after your first day of your period. (Also known as cycle day 1)
You can also test your cervical mucus. You are most fertile when it resembles stretchy eggwhites in both consistency (and sometime even smell)
I would suggest you take a peek at www.fertilityfriend.com or reading the book TAKING CHARGE OF YOUR FERTILITY.
Best of luck!

You are generally most fertile 14 days AFTER the START of your monthly cycle.
So start having sex on day 13 and keep going a couple nights.............
That said, you should have your husband go get a sperm count..........perhaps he is shooting blanks..........
Also, you might see a fertility specialist......they can do tests ....also they can get you fertitlity drugs that will help you crank out more eggs every month...........
This info comes from my wifes fertility doctor.....2 weeks after the start of your cycle.......all other advice is BS, like the girl below
Erika, youre an idiot
