Well, Showbread sounds a little like that in "Mouth Like A Magazine". Check it out on Youtube.com. I also agree that UnderOath and Skillet would be good. Project 89 is pretty heavy also. Try going to ToothandNail.com. Hope you find the sound you're looking for. I for one am sort of really into Christian Indie, so I'm not sure if you'll like some of these.

You probably won't find any cristian bands that sound like slipknot because slipknot had a very distinct sound to begin with. However there are a number of christan metal bands.
I'll just link the Wiki because it lists a number of them.

Pretty much everyone here's made some great suggestions, here's a couple that technically aren't Christian bands but are constantly mistaken for them because of the positive lyrical content.
Killswitch Engage(actually the original singer is a christian and there's a lot of that influence on their first album)

Check out Demon Hunter...my cousin's a Christian, and a Slipknot fan. He really got into that group. They're good and heavy.
P.S.- "azurius_mantle," you're an idiot. Rock 'n Roll in the beginning wasn't evil or anti-God. Do your research, you putz.

If someone sounds like slipknot, they are probably not a "Christian" artist. Rock 'n' Roll is the Devil's music.
