What is more important for a LCD montior..Resolution or Contrast Ratio?

resolutiion is way more important than contrast ratio. All new moniters have a rly high contrast ration lile 10000000:1, it does not rly matter though. Get a moniter with a high resulution, but make sure ur graphics card can take it. If u have a dedicated card then dont worry. Look at dells moniters. They are not very expensice, and u get a lot 4 the money look at the 20-24 inch lcd moniters

I would definitely agree with jgreenwood7889 on this one resolution is more important in you monitor than contrast.
