why is sex so powerful?.... i know what i think... but want to hear what you think, and who so ever gives the best explanation gets the points.

When sex comes to mind all other activities stop.

First of all, it is one of the greatest physical sensations that you can have. I challenge you to find a physical sensation that is more pleasurable than excellent foreplay followed by orgasm.

Second, it satisfies on a mental level. Men consider it a conquest. Women use it for domination over men as they know that most men will do anything for it.

Third, it satisfies on an emotional level. For women, there is that deep sense of emotional bonding after a great bout of sex and for men it is a feeling of having accomplished a task well.

Fourth, it fulfils our desire for the "forbidden fruit". There is nothing that people want more than what they can't have. Why else would a man married to a beautiful woman, or a woman married to a caring man, cheat? Sex is mysterious and forbidden, so we want it.

Fifth, it is a physiological & biological need. If you are not getting any you masturbate. Even if you are getting some you probably masturbate. It is a need, an itch if you will, that has to be scratched.

Sixth, it is equated with power. Women are attracted to famous powerful men and men feel helpless when they see a beautiful woman. It is a rush to dominate and be dominated.

Seventh, because God said so and you don't dispute the Big Dude, especially when you agree with Him.
