Why are people so rude?

Question

Why do they hurt others? Why do make people feel pain? cry?

No one was rude to me. I was just asking this question to know what others think.

Because it's a dog eat dog world out there, women are more apt to be rude and mean then men. Most women are mean, moody, nasty, and jealous, and I don't know why, every woman that I've known is up one minute and down another, I think sometimes they don't have enough to keep them up, I asked a number of women what are they into, the answer I always get is nothing, most of them don't read or have hobbies, nothing to look forward to except find out where their boyfriends/husbands are or what their up too! I myself am into a lot of things, I don't have time to be moody or rude, I always have something that I want to do. When I tell a lot of women my idea of fun is studying a Bach concerto they think that's boring, or if I enjoy computer games, they can't get into that, and none of them read books. No wonder their so miserable they have nothing to occupy their minds. Also a lot of people are unhappy because their jealous of everything, women mostly are in this category, no one seems to have any confidence anymore. Because they were raised in a dysfunctional family where manners and politeness are not a requirement. If they can be rude and disrespectful to their parents, don't be surprised if they disrespect and rude to everyone else.

I don't believe in time out when children are being rude. Smack them upside down their head so they can learn. Kidding. Seriously, time out doesn't work. Children need to be discipline so they don't turn out to be rude like this society we live in.

I work with customers everyday. I've seen more than I care to see. 30% of the people I deal with are rude, ignorance, low self esteem, hatred and sad.

It really depends on the population and the culture, I think. Then there are different in-groups in all societies. I think, generally, when they are not strong individuals, people easily turn to hurting others.

As for plain rudeness, thats just negativity and a short fuse! Those people could stand to slow down and enjoy life more.

I'm a teenage girl and I experience that hurt and pain all around me every single day at school. Many times it makes the attacker feel superior or they think their action can be justified for some other reason, they also take their anger out on unsuspecting individuals

People are biotches.. Most people dont know any better, and they've either been hurt in the past, which is why they turn into mean people, and want to hurt everyone else. Either that or they are insecure, so try to cover up their insecurities in order to make themselves look better. The reason people hurt other people is because, well, people are selfish.

rude ppl you are talking about are very smart. Atleast they know how much they can handle and to whom they should show their smartness. I have came across such ppl, they show the "rudeness" only to those ppl who normally don't react and hence it gives a kind of confidence to rude ppl to continue being rude. Some other are rude because they are jealous with someone else.

A lot of these people are Trolls or people upset with their own lives so they take it out on others. This stuff just won't bother you after a while.

hello risk, of course ppl r rude. they have their own types of behaviours.it seems odd to some of us and good for some. many others might have thought that i was rude or u were rude but according to us we r pure so, it doesn't matter, its our life.
