I think being in preschool and having boy-girl parties is best! I think 14 should be fine as long is there are parents there. I think actoually the older the people are the less good it would be (to a parent) to have a co-ed party.
Tell her Happy Birthday and to have fun at her party for me!!

I think that if there is enough supervision at age 14, a co-ed party is fine
If not, I would say no co-ed parties till you're at least 16

In part I'd say that this is a good age. However there are a few factors to bring up. There should be parental supervision. Absolutely. Also, this relies on the maturity of the child in question. A less mature child will have difficulty "behaving" in a mixed sex environment, and this would be awkward for all involved. Also, the child's parents have ultimate say on this matter. It's up to them if the trust their child enough to allow even a supervised party.

I think 14 would be okay.
If it was a sleepover party, it should be supervised and if the boys and girls slept in different rooms like the boys in the living room, girls in your sisters room or something like that.
Preschool parties are different then when your a teenager. Because even though kids are at a "experimenting" phase they rarely know the specifics about sex.

Lights on or dim with disco ball/party lights, and my kid can have co-ed where the kids dance with each other (not nasty) at age 10 so 14 is well old enough, first lock all bedroom doors and garages, and dont let no one go to cars, or back of house, pool house, etc. they are at that age, and let them have fun, make your security check rounds around the house, make sure not in bathroom doing it, have a bathroom door person or rent a hall, and have fun.

I think preteens/teens should be allowed to have "co-ed parties" at any age as long as the request is reasonable, meaning there is a defined number of people coming, the parent knows all the names, etc. It absolutely should NOT be an open house style party. If you begin to deny your child "co-ed" experiences at a young age, they will feel that they are forbidden and do them simply to rebel as they grow a bit more independent. You should be open to them growing up and welcome their growing up IN YOUR HOUSE where you can be part of it. If you don't, they'll do it somewhere else where you may or may not approve of the outcome.
Basically, be involved and allow them to grow and mature with your guidance.

I am thirteen and i am going to have a co-ed party...I don't really see the big deal. All you people think that we are just gonna run around and have sex and get high or something, but when i go to teen co-ed parties ... none of that happens. You should trust US a little! Anyway to answer the question yeah its fine to me, i guess if your parents are protective they will chaperon it.
