can you see if you can go to a nutritionist? you need to consume at least 1200 calories a day... and you need to start doing some type of workout at least 3 times a day for 30 min. a day.. i know it's hard to find time, but if you really want this, then that's what you have to do. you'll have to make time for yourself. you can start by walking, fast pace, and see how that does.. after that, try jogging or running.. get a jogging stroller and you can take your baby with you... incorporate your baby into your workout.. use him as a weight as you lay on the floor on your back and hold him over your head and pretend he is an airplane... lower him down to your face and kiss him and then back up.. put your arms over your head and then back in an arc till you hold him over your outstretched legs... talk to him.. make faces.. he will think it's a game and you'll be working out your abs and arms. make time for yourself.. it'll make you feel better.

First off, 1000 calories a day is NOT enough. Are you breastfeeding? If you aren't eating enough, you could be hurting not only yourself, but also it makes it challenging to produce enough milk for your baby.
It takes time to lose the weight; it WILL happen. It is definitely frustrating to have that extra weight and that extra skin after pregnancy, but if you do eat well (and that means eating enough) and if you do excersize, you will get back into shape. It doesn't have to be an hour a day workout, you can do crunches while you watch TV in the evenings or take your baby for a walk with you.
If you are continuing to feel depressed, please do see someone about this. Post partum depression is real and it can be serious, but it is usually very easily treatable.

I am not trying to make you feel any worse than you already do. But I had a c-section in the year 2000 before pregnancy I weighed 140 pounds after the baby I weighed 180 and thats where I stayed a c-section is worse because they cut all the muscles and ligiments in your body. I am now 5 months and am getting another c-section I now weigh over 200 pounds. and will prob. stay like this and I will feel the same as you do. I had to get use to my body after my first baby. Clothes would not always fit me right. I tried diet after diet and nothing seemed to help. This time I will Breast feed because I heard it helps you to lose weight. I am going to try it and find out. Good luck on the weight loss

I have had 3 c-sections. One just 12 wks ago. If you had a bikini incision, then you shouldn't have to much of a problem getting back in shape, they don't cut the muscles with that, they only separate them.
Here's what I have done, drink as much water as you can.
Walk at least an hour a day.
You have to eat starving your self will only make you gain it back plus more when you start eating again...
breakfast, small healthy snack, lunch, small healthy snack, dinner, small healthy snack before bed.
It takes at least 6 months for your incision to heal on the inside completely, so no sit ups or things like that till after then.

I am looking forward to your answers, I too was about 136 before I got pregnant. I am over 180 now. I am yet to deliver and I want to get back into shape, want to be 130 thinner than before I was pregnant.
But I did lose 30 lbs on my own several years ago and it follows a diet, lean meats, lots of fruits and vegetables, no fried foods or soda or sweets. I would eat healthy 6 days of the week and allow one "fat day".
Exercise is very important I joined a gym, but exercies at home is just as good. You need to exercise at your greatest potential for 45 minutes. Heavy cardio 3 days a week light cardio two days and two days of strenght building.
It took time to put on weight, anticipate for your weight loss to take almost a year.
good luck to you , I will be in the same boat in a few weeks so I guess good luck to us both!

The best thing you can do is sit ups although because you had a c-section it might be a little painful at first. See if you can find like 10 min your schedule to do situps everyday and that may help
