Why are swimsuit competitions "degrading to women"? Why don't male bodybuilders consider their contest degrading? Why is it wrong to judge someone on appearance? Are lesbians behind this ideology? Ugly women?

Presenting the body in a sexual manner to a crowd of people falls somewhere between prostitution and exhibitionism.

I consider male body contests degrading to the men who participate. YUCK! Get some clothes man!

A person can be judged on appearance to some extent, for example, a sloppy appearance indicates a lack of interest in societal norms, but it isn't a very important characteristic.

I think women with a little self-respect would not participate in these events. As for trying to prevent other women from participating, well, you know some people can't live and let live.

I don't think these competitions are degrading at all. No one is forcing women to participate in them. Femi-nazis are always looking for something to b*tch about.
