Nobody knows. Seriously.

The only things we have of velociraptors is the fossilized remians of their skeletons. The soft tissue--skin included--has long since rotted away. There is no way to know what color skin theirs was.

Artists conceptions range from being a rather mottled greenish-brown color, like a standard lizard, all the way to colorful creatures that are practically walking works of art. Let your imagination be your guide here--it's as good a call as anyone else's.

It's true that know one knows for sure. However, it seems reasonable that the velociraptors, as predators, would have benefitted from camouflage--as do many top level predators among the mammals. So, if I had to take an educated guess, its likely that they were colored, whether patterned or not, to blend into their surroundings.

skin of extinct animals did not last in fossils so we can only guess - hence movie making one are various shades. But they do surmise that they would be coloured to hide in the plants rather than stand out brightly. maybe browns and greens.??

No one knows, because there were no people around then. Artists make guesses based on the colors of today's animals. See the web site below.

I don't know. I never got close enough to one. In the good old days, we used to just run away from them.
