I know for a fact that the iPhone will come out at the end of June as targeted, or early July. It will only come for Cingular or now it is called AT&T. It will cost 500$ for a 4gb model and a 2 year subsription. It will cost 600$ for a 6gb model and a 2 year subsription. There might be an unlocked version coming, but you won't get the amazing features that the AT&T and apple made that makes the iPhone so amazing and wanted.

The iPhone is due out at the end of June through Cingular. Retail price should be $500-600

it is scheduled to come out near the time of WWDC (June 15-18) but it will probably come out towards the end of June. The carrier is Cingular, and they wont make the cdma (verizon, sprint) verzion 4 at least 5 years.
their might me a substacy from cingular, but i would not count on it.
And the phone would have the same feature if it was unlocked cause Apple makes the apps, not the carriers

According to Apple's public-relations “Apple is on track, as the company has repeatedly said, to ship the iPhone in late June – as scheduled”.

Two models of the iPhone will be available in USA next June:

iPhone 4G - US$499
iPhone 8G - US$599

iPhone will be sold in the US through Apple's retail and online stores and through AT&T-Cingular's retail and online stores
