I love the little guy but everyone says he admittantly said he was a homosexual in one episode...What did I miss???!!

They're probably just messing with you.
The show's writers change, and some are just homophobic and don't wanna have gay characters in the show, while other writers think it's funny to make him gay. So sometimes he's gay and sometimes he's not.

Stewie met his grown-up self in an episode, who happened to have a girlfriend, which surprised little Stewie. So it seems even Stewie isn't certain about this.
