Both, in the work force and the case of equal rights they should be treated the same. Most other times chivalry.

Men and women aren't the same. Pretending they are is kina foolish. A little chivalry goes a long way with a real woman.

I do like to be treated nicely by a man, have the door opened for me, etc, however I am not offended in the least if a guy doesn't do that. I think that for the most part and in most instances they should be treated the same.

I personally believe in and practive it, *unless* I know that the woman professes to be a feminist.
In that case, I would treat her with the exact same courtesy as I would a man, no more or less *because* she ostensibly rejects (or at least should reject) any preference based on sex.

Men and women should be treated the same, otherwise us women never get viewed as being equal if we want special treatment .
