A friend once said that old saying 'may you have an interesting life' was actually a Chinese curse. I never believed it, but once I sat down and thought about a couple of things, well ....

Let's just take the past 4 months for me. I got injured at a job, which workmans compensation told me the injury is non existant, although qualified doctors [3] disagree with them, so no income to start with and an annoying pain.
About two weeks after the injury, I have a massive hart attack! Why I survived it I don't know! Really. My medical insurance is not to cover the bills so I am around $80k in the hole here!
So I continue, remember, not to give up here is what is supposed to be the way to go. My business was going down the hill. Just market related stuff.
To top everything, INS declined my Visa renewal, my appartment is being sold out beneath me, so that will make me homeless, penny less, in major debt, leaving the country.
What do one say to someone like me? I have to be cursed! Yes?

* Just to rectify one thing here about my business. The injury happened while I was contracting out for another company here in the States. Something that I had to do for Visa requirement [don't understand it, but apparently no use now.]

Thanks anyway for all of your encouragemnt. Much appreciated!

Dear Friend.
I know that you are in very difficult situation, but just for a second think that you are alive. It is an proverb: "When bad things are coming just open the door." Do not even think you are cursed. More negate things you think, more bad things will happen. Try to be positive. Take deep breaths , relax and be positive. I was in almost your situation, and I even doubted God, why those things were happening to me. More negative I was in my fellings and my thoughts more bad things happened to me. I try to change the way I was thinking and to find solutions.
You my dear try to get hepl from all sources.
I know you are going to be better and good things will come in your way. GOOD LUCK.

Consider this: How lucky you are to survive the heart attack and injury. Also, if you have your own business, why would workmen's comp cover you? Something isn't right there. Also, how lucky you are to have your own business AND medical insurance on a VISA, many natural born citizens don't have that. I would be interested in knowing why your VISA renewal was denied, would you like to share that? I certainly wish you well but cursed, no you are not, you are lucky enough to be alive to move on.

You are NOT cursed. What you need is a good Attorney to fight this battle for you. You can win. Look in your local Yellow Pages and make an appointment for a personal injury Lawyer and contact someone to help you with your visa. All is not lost. Just hang in there. Good Luck.

Look up synchronicity.

It's like, when some good stuff happens a lot, you're riding a kind of synchronicity wave, take advantage. When a buncha bad stuff happens in a row, it's a kind of wave too, you just gotta ride it out.

Keep your head up and your mind clear and you'll kick the bad luck in the *** and most likely if you get through this you'll have series of good things happening to you. What doesn't kill ya makes you stronger... or a wuss.

I'm so sorry to hear about all you're going through. I don't think that you are 'cursed', though.

Many of us go through seemingly endless bouts of bad luck and misfortune. Whenever we think things may get better, something else goes wrong. In the end, it does make us stronger people--but it really messes up our lives while going on.

I wish you happier days, and all the good luck in the world.
