All over India there is water shortage from time to time, so personal hygiene is at stake.

Arm pit and certain joints, are the main source, so spot washing it 3 or 4 times a day may help(keep a cloth handy and use it wet to wipe the joints).

Applying deodorant (antiperspirant) and talcum powder can help.

Cause of Odour:

Main cause is derm (bacteria).
Other is perspiration, which contains "Urea" the smell from these two can be unbearable.
Yet another may be diet, veg diet does not have as much Urea producing things. Most non veg have higher amount of Urea in their perspiration.
Some food including vegetables and spices, can contribute to the body odour, so if general hygiene method is not working then pay attention to the diet and adjust it, reduce Onion, garlic, ginger, turnips(mula), add sweet smelling items like mint, lemon, orange, apples, vanilla, cardamon, Cinnamon.

Takes a while for body chemistry to change.
