LG env and Samsung U740?

Question

Im trying to figure out which one to get from verizon :]
Do these phones let you transfer files to and from other phones (Pictures, videos)? Also, with the Select family plan with unlimited instant messaging, do you have to use internet in order to IM? Would it be smart for me to get Vcast? Is it useful?

I would definetly get the enV because it is way cooler. If your really like flip phones, then get the u740, but i found that the keyboard was too hard to use on the u740, since it was meshed together betweeen a normal dialing pad and a keypad. These phones let you txt, pix, and flix mesage, so you don't need to worry about transfering pics and videos, they both do it. No, it doesn't cost any extra money to do on IM, it doesn't use the internet, but i does use ure txt messages when u recieve and send a message. I would definetly get V CAST it is really cool and you get imediate connection to shows and music videos

i was also looking at both phones and i finally decided on the enV (vx9900). The buttons on the Samsung was 2 much 4 me. I dont know about the 740 but wit the vx9900 i can with the card, or bluetooth. You can also transfer files to ur computer. No u dont need the internet to use im, it works over ur mesging plan. vCast depends on where u live, if u live in a place where u can get ev-do, then u can get it. 4 me vcast is dumb. Its only short clips of video. neother question i would be happy 2 help. -Jake
