Just wanna find out here, how many of you have used ultrasonic cockroach repellents/mosquito repellent here and it has been effective... i am considering to buy one but have done a little search online and some said that they were not useful against the cockroaches. I don't wanna try DIY or any other ideas at home because i've tried them before and it never worked. I keep my house clean too... they normally fly in from the windows.(I put netting in my room window so they dun fly in from there, but they do from windows in the hall or kitchen)

Please give me your advises based on experience with these ultrasonic repellents.

P.S.
Just in case some dun know what's an ultrasonic repellent, its a repellent that emits waves or sounds that isn't audible to humans but acts as a disturbance to insects so that they can't settle down in your home.

thanks in advance peeps!

I had a very serious roach problem at one time...tried everything to no avail then my grams told me about Boric Acid. It's a powder , you put it under your sinks in your wall sockets (just unscrew them and squirt some in) under the stove, behind the fridge in the coils (cause we know how they like warm dark places). Make sure if you have toddlers or animals they can't get at it. What it does is it gets on them and they bring it back to the nest and in the process of trying to get rid of it, it dehydrates them and they die! Hope this helps....it was a last resort for me and I wish I had known about it before spending hundreds of $.

DOnt waste your money the best thing I have found is the COmbat Gel in the tube that looks like peanut butter. It really does work and works for 3 months. An exterminator told me that he uses a commercial product that is basically the same thing. The electronic things dont work. I had them and it didnt do a thing but provide another warm place for them to hide.

I certainly have heard blended comments of such issues - there consistently look some that get previous / are unaffected. for people who are not repelled, I have been given myself a variety of spider-vac spider catchers - malicious program Buster. it works properly and the two foot long tube keeps me very just about some distance adequate away to be ok
