My dad always makes excuses for not going out because of the rain. I think if you prepare (warm clothes, waterproof jackets) and you know yr going home for a nice hot bath/shower then you can do anything in the rain. I took my 8 year old son out to play football/soccer in the rain today, he had an amazing time it was such great fun. : )

Movies can be loads of fun on a rainy day - and museums too. Also, you could go to the local library - we do this a lot on rainy days, load up with magazines, books and movies, then go home, pop popcorn and watch the movies. You get some fresh air and a change of scene, come back fresher, and then have a nice movie party.
