A cashier? if the change is under a dime or if I am in a hurry, sometimes. If there is a "tip jar" however, I ususally tell them to dump the change in there, and add to it, if not enough or the service particulary good.

usually where we go the waitress takes care of us paying the bill. we tell her to keep the change. how much depends on how good the service was. usually $5, but sometimes more.

Sure. I just take it drop it in the tip jar. Usually change or sometimes a dollar or two.
