i have to make a project and i am deciding to make a simlple robot can you help me ???or do you know any simple working model to make???

Your best bet might be to build something using Legos, either using the older RCX sets, or the newer NXT sets that just came out last year. You'll be able to easily integrate with a variety of motors and sensors and build a little robot that does a specific task or wanders around. You could build a wheeled robot, or a multi-leg walking robot, etc. and you can program it either in a visual programming language or in a more conventional language like C or Java.
