Hi. Bad mood today? The paradox is that information is lost to the universe upon entering a black hole. Hawking predicted that in certain quantum states, mostly as virtual particles, that one of the particle/antiparticle pair could be 'trapped' as the other escaped. I have alway imagined that the particle/antiparticle, which must have mass, may cause the so called dark matter and dark energy.

Physics today says no information can be lost or destroyed. If something is sucked into a black hole physics tells us it cant come back out. Hence, the paradox. Stephen hawking thought it hence, the hawking paradox.
