Question Details: Looking for a professional auto detailer in greensboro. Have some tar needing to be taking off because waxing the whole car...Need someone reliable and knows what he is doing. If you have a phone number would be great!

You can get some prep-sol from a auto paint supply store and that will remove it without causing damage.

Clean towel, wash it afterwards.

Dont wax your car - use a polish.

Modern cars use a clear coat finish and wax is not good for them.

WD-40 works on removing tar or check with parts stores for bug and tar remover.
