I was on it and then the screen went black, I held down the on button for 10 seconds the it went "BEEP" I pressed start again and "ACER" came up but then the screen went black, I did it again and the same thing happened, We got the computer just after christmas, I'm really scared I broke it.

No YOU didn't break it! (Didn't you hear it scream when you held the button down?) JUST KIDDIN'! The beep you heard is the computers sound device inside, telling you that you have a 'stuck key error'. Look to see if you have a cd disk that came with the computer, it should say," Restore disk for .......................

Try a Re-boot of the Computer. Also the Vendor has warranties your computer... Call or Email... the Customer Service Department!

Hi. You did not break it but it may STILL be broken. Return it and see if they can fix it. Remember you will want all the files on your hard drive.
