does any one know if thiamin helps relieve anxiety? my father bought some B vitamins to help keep the mosquitos away, even though garlic tablets worked a bit better, I researched the Thiamin which B1 vitamins are made out of.

I was wondering of anyone knows if B1 vitamins help reduce anxiety and if so, how does itwork and how much would one take?

if anyone knows anything about the mosquitos it would help too.

I don't think mosquitos are good for anxiety.

Vitamin's especially B vitamins are necessary for healthy nerve function, but most people get enough of it in their diet.

If you have continuous anxiety, more so than normal to where it is affecting your ability to function, look to your doctor and a prescription. Xanax is widely used for anxiety.

Quick research turned up that the mosquito part is all legend. The mosquitoes do not care.

The anxiety issue was shown to benefit from thiamine as well as the other B vitamins. All the B vitamins and C are water soluble and you will pee out any the body does not need.
There is a possibility of allergy to some of the B vitamins, thiamine as one but also niacin. Follow dosage on the bottle.

Many years ago I started taking B complex as it is like a natural inflammatory and keeps the pain down for authorities. I did notice that the mosquitoes didn't like as much.
