Seller can do one of two things:
#1 List an item with BIN and NO reserve. If they do this, the BIN goes away with the placement of the opening bid.

#2 List an item with BIN AND a Reserve Price. If they do this one of two things will happen:

#1 Bidder's opening bid is BELOW the reserve price on the auction. The BIN stays.
#2 Bidder's opening bid is AT or EXCEEDS the reserve price. Reserve price becomes the showing bid and the BIN goes away.
:-)

Buy it Now is an option that sometimes the seller offers to sell the item quicker and forgo the lenth of the auction. Once someone bids on the item then the Buy it Now option is forfited because the bidder has been somewhat guaranteed that the item is up for auction based on the terms of the auction until the auction expires.

If a lot has both a bid price and a buy it now price, the buy it now price will disappear once someone makes a bid.

Hi. Sometimes the seller has more than 1 item of the same description. You may buy 1 and she may have 19 left, say.
