Reason!

Seneca a Roman philosopher said that Time heals what reason cannot..
Which implies that Reason can Heal what time cannot.
so my reasoning is that
Since time cannot heal itself
and reason can heal what time cannot
Reason can heal time.
though it may take a long time to for you to reason it out.

Your question is illogical.
You have in your mind something like this.
If A gives x amount of money to B, then who has given money to A? This is a valid preposition.
If the likes of this preposition is in the mind of the asker, then possibly, the asker personifies "time" and also presumes that "time" has received this ability to heal(all wounds) from some x. This cannot be.
Time is a concept. When you say, time heals, it means that one, with the passing of days, months and years from the happening of the event which wounded him, either forgets or reconciles to the event which has happened. And hence, the severity of the wound is felt lighter and lighter as day passes.
The first preposition that "time heals" is a way to communicate that with passing of time one forgets the wounds.
I wish the concept and the proverbial sentence "time heals"is understood.

Who says that time needs to be healed?
Time is arbitrary, and changes. The 24 hour day was not always thus. Our wounds, mental, physical, emotional, need healing, and it is God Who, in the course of time, helps them to heal.
Ask your friend why he/she thinks time needs to be healed. Let him discourse on the subject and see what he comes up with.

If you wear a Timex watch it won't need healing. Cause "it takes a licking and keeps on ticking."

Agree. This happens because to much trauma or damage was done during the thing that led to the wound.
