You don`t say what year your car is but it won`t make much difference. You will need what are known as "keys" basically two very simple twin pronged metal devices. These are inserted into each side of the unit and will allow you to remove it. It might be worth trying Ebay for a pair?

The unlock code is different in each radio. Check the Rover dealer where the car was purchase. Or keep looking on the owners certificate its there.
