-- then that means I'm demanding "special rights"?

Be patient and use short words. Remember, I'm stupid.

If you are talking civil or human rights, they are universal. It has nothing to do with where you come from, what race, religion or anything else. Everyone can demand their rights.
Good question.

The fact that I am different from you does not prove the difference is against the society. Hence I want the same rights that you already have.

I am not asking for special rights, because, I am asking for only those rights that you already have. If I was seeking rights that you dont have, I will be asking for special rights.

I can be given special rights if the society thinks it would be better for IT’S advancement. May be due to my difference, I was moved a long way back the line. May be its better for the advancement of the society to reinstall me at the right place. Hence I may be given a special right, that other like you may not require, to come forward.

By today's laws, women and minorities have more rights than white men. Just because I am a white male does not mean I have the same rights as other white males. The whole justice system is bogus really. Everyone should be equal under the law, and everyone should be treated by society with dignity and fairness. I can't even tell you how many times my human rights have been violated due to gender laws or race laws or a lack of laws protecting my own human rights since I'm a white male and have few.

Whitewash your skin & grow testicles. Lay them out on a flat surface and strike with a sledgehammer b/c you've just become the most discriminated flavor in the USA. You can be fired with no recourse, no free lawyers for child issues, whereas your partner has access to a multitude of ignorant people to harss you. They don't even have to prove it. CPS does nothing for men in this area even if she is a fuckup. Let's not forget the 2 college degrees you get to pay for bc she won't ever use either of them. That was done just to ride the gravy train and not work. I still earn more because I have a job that has almost killed me many times. The last one was a 90' fall onto solid IRON. If I had gone to the hospital and lost my job I GET TO GO TO JAIL, YAY!!! When she had all her kids taken away I wasn't even notified until my attorney called me. If her 2nd X hadn't found out I still wouldn't know!!!!!! I was fired from one job for having long hair. It was braided and tucked in my shirt. MY gf worked there also her hair is long and not braided. Not 1 attorney or the Labor board will touch it. Did you know we don't have 1 white male working on the Labor Board? Pretty Nice huh????? I'd love to meet the person who made these equal rights. I'd put knots on that skull quicker than they could rub them!!!!!!! If you think you got it bad just grow some balls!!!!!

There is really no such thing as 'special rights', it's not a very useful term in philosophy. If you are demanding that you be allowed to do things that you do not deserve to be able to do (remember, being different is not enough by itself to make this is the case), then what you are demanding are called by the more concise word 'privileges'. Privileges are just that: Things that someone is allowed to do by law but not allowed to do morally.

No. You are not demanding 'special rights' - you are asking for the same rights that every legal citizen has. If you are not a legal citizen, then you may have a problem, and that is where I would think that you are demanding special rights.

Because we cannot feel sorry for anyone whose title starts with the word "illegal" we must be racists and are filled with hate. Please, my life is too short to be filled with the hatred you accuse me of. You say "illegals" are only feeding their children? Why don't you focus your hate filled energy on the Mexican government to help feed your children. As a whole illegals working in our country are sending billions a year back into the Mexican economy, this alone is hurting our economy in more ways than one! I am sorry I cannot find any sympathy for you’se, this fact does not make me a racist. I just happen to see way too many children that are U.S. citizens that are also very hungry.

It's like 'buyer beware' you get what you pay for. Factor in that you may not know what you want and have a pushy salesman who steers you to an item you don't want or need. People that sell goods and services do not tend to tell you much of anything, so it comes down to you. You have rights, but do you know what they are and how to use them? You can't use your rights if you don't know what they are.

Everyone deserves the same rights as everyone else, different or not.

I don't think that implies special rights, just equal rights.

I guess some interpret that differently....

We already have a equal rights law. You need to be more specific on what rights you are talking about.
