To answer the question directly, how many viewers does The View have? Ten million might be a lot. Therefore, 290 million Americans don't really care about who is on there.
You may not agree with O'Donnell's viewpoints. However, the safe thing for an entertainer to do is to say nothing. Alienating part of the public is risking. O'Donnell felt strongly enough to put her positions out there for discussion. She could have done it better, and she probably crossed some lines, but I have no doubts of her sincerity.
And it's allowed to not agree with the President but love the nation. Right now, with Bush's approval rating at 30 percent, you'd have to say a lot of people are doing it.

Yes. Most Americans are glad. She did hate America. She had NO common sense. Actually, I think most Americans would be glad if the view just left the television screen. All it is is 3 biased women and only one woman on there has common sense, and alls they do in natter and bicker.
Yeah, Rosie isn't a true American. She thinks 9/11 was staged...over 3,000 of my fellow Americans died on 9/11 so it would be nice if she showed some respect...it'd also be nice if she learned some common sense.

If I was Elizabeth I would have crushed her, I mean Rosie says the British and the U.S. were the ones by the Iran Hostage of the British sailors.
Rosie makes way off based 9-11 conspiracy theories that our government is behind the Killings of over 3,000 Americans. Please stop these stop 9-11 theories they all have been proven insane and it disrespect's the lives lost on that tragic day. Wake up America.
Rosie says the poor Terrorists who drive planes into Bldgs, blow up our Bases in Saudi Khobar Towers, killing 19 airman wounding 300 others in 96, or Blowing up 2 U.S. Embassy's in Africa in 98, or Blowing a Hole in the U.S.S. Cole, or terrorists who walk into Cafes with bombs strapped on them ARE MOTHERS AND FATHERS AND IT'S THE U.S. Fault.
I am former Military and Find Rosie's comments against our country UN-American. I am glad Elizabeth stood up and didn't back down.
Rosie is a left wing nut is who is a media pawn of Anti-American Propaganda machine like George Soros and her Left wing Nut Friends like MOVEON.ORG, Huffington Post, ETC.
It's one thing to disagree with our president but Rosie's and the LEFT WING NUTS INTHE COUNTRY, WHO HAVE THE HATRED TO OUR COUNTRY OR HARRY REID SAYING WE LOST THE WAR, IS UN-AMERICAN!!! FROM A FORMER SOLDIERS POINT OF VIEW

Sigh.
Where to start?
First, Rosie O'Donnell is not a spokesperson for Hollywood, the Democratic party or anyone else other than Rosie O'Donnell.
Second, criticizing our government, leaders our policies does not mean one "hates America." I honestly thought Falwell hated America way more than Rosie, considering he was trying to erode Constitutional rights.
Third, What do you consider "Core America?" Is this the 60 percent of America who think Iraq had something to do with Sept. 11? You think they are actually in touch with what's going on?
This whole "Hollywood has lost touch with America" business is ridiculous.
Considering how much Spiderman 3, Shrek 3 and the new Pirates movie are making, It would seem Hollywood is very much in touch with "Core America."
The bigger question is: Is Washington in touch with America?
One last thing, not liking Bush's policies or the way he has conducted himself while in office does not mean people hate him or America.
Bush is NOT America. America is much bigger than one man.
And part of being a responsible American is questioning our leaders and holding them accountable for their actions. So if anything, I would say those who turn a blind eye to the corruption currently in the White House, are more dangerous to America than anything that fat blowhard would say on a show not many watch.
Sorry sweetheart, Rosie isn't off the View becaue she was voted off by a majority, advertisers wishes or because the ratings are low. She just left of her own free will.
Nice try, but you have pretty much proved my theory about "Core America" correct.
Try using facts next time instead of irrational opinions...
P.S. I like how your retort is basically, "I only want responses from people who agree with me."

I don't think there is anything that Rosie has said that I have heard is worth anything. She's rude, disgusting and ignorant with a mouth to fit. Time for her to roll...
