How do I look less asian??

Im not asian, im pacific islander. How do I look less asian?
My features- Dark brown hair, tanned skin, not small eyes but they are not wide either, kinda flat nose.
I have bangs across my forhead. Thank you!

I am Japanese/Slovakian and went through a phase where I wanted to look as white as possible. I dyed my hair lighter, it turned purple red, then I dyed it lighter red. I looked like a little punk. I cut my hair in all different ways, I tried to avoid certain clothing colors, I stayed out of the sun so I wouldn't tan. My Chinese friend got purple contacts. We were sick of being ethnic!

Here's the thing, looking back at the pictures, I realize the more you try to make yourself look different, the more obvious your true heritage shows through. So you should try to look the best you can possibly look, regardless of race, because you will never cover it up. And that's a good thing. I'm not sure if you're asking how to look more islander or less ethnic, but either way. Learn how to do makeup for your face shape and play around with your sense of style, find a look that makes you feel like YOU and not islander-you or non-asian-you. Good luck hon!

Try some light eyeliner to embrace your eyes and next time instead of just getting regular bangs try some side bangs with layering in the back. This will make you look more unique than fitting in.

Grow out your bangs and your hair.
Wear tropical-looking clothes.
Or stop worrying about your looks and just be yourself. Who cares if people think you're Asian? It's their mistake.

Well normally asian people have those kind of bangs so you should think about growing them out or pulling them back into that mohawk kind of thing i would know beacuse I'm a stylist.

pacific islander is not a race sweetheart...lol its a politically correct term (kind of like blk. vs. african or white vs. european..) to identify different ethnicities and cultures of oceanic peoples (from hawaii, sometimes samoa, polynesian migrants, micronesians, and malenesians but all of these people migrated from asia - so they are asian) ...you're asian and you might as well get over it. and wtf would you not want to look your own race? you're asian. be proud.

Why? You need to be proud with the way you look.. Identify youself with others by showing what you are inside.

Be proud of who you are and where you come from. Dont make yourself look like the crowd because how will you then be special? Exotic looks from Exotic places are always very sexy and very desirable. Celebrate yourself!
