Yes it would, that's the downside of having no thumbs.

Yes. The bottom would fall off. It is completely impossible to hold a sandwich without a thumb.

Just hold it the other way with your fingers on the bottom. That's the easy part. Making the sandwich would be a whole different situation.

Most probably. Our thumbs are vital for many everyday activities that we take for granted. I suppose you could learn to adapt and just about manage without thumbs, but I think you would never attain the same degree of dexterity.
