I think ratings will plummet...but I think she did the right thing.
Her problem was she was too passionate about her feelings. I think they stemmed from caring too much. She may have been obnoxious at times but I would rather have her on my side than bimbette Elisabeth.

I'm with you Pop...people don't want individuality...they can't handle a healthy debate...they find it too threatening...they want to hear what they want to hear...
My grandma once said adversity bulds character....I'd rather have people like that in my life than sorrowful gossipers who accomplish nothing.
Sorry, Elis. IS a bimbette...I saw enough of how she handles herself to know the type....it's not that difficult to generalize...people aren't all that different.

The only reason she talked "over" everyone else was because she knew they would disapprove...it's her way of asserting power over them...it just showed the world she could overpower them all to the bitter end and she did....that is why the whole world loved to watch...secretly they wished they were her...she said what she felt...which most people can't do...they all loved it on the show too...you could see it. Too bad Rosie felt she had to lower herself to that for so long. I guess she finally woke up!

I don't think she called your troops terrorists...I think she called your government terrorists....and surprise, surprise...there are a lot of people who just might agree with that.

Granted Rosie wasn't polished and yes, she was a bit of a slob and obnoxious...I think she was used to running her own show and got a bit carried away on The View...but it was her passion that drove her...I just think it all got too serious on her...the subjects they discussed...but I don't think she was wrong on her views.....it's just the same old with you guys in the States...you're always fighting about the left and right...you all need to meet in the middle there somewhere...it's all getting old you know?

No biting, but Rosie's problem is that once she states her opinion that's it. She 's right and your wrong. She is one of those people who when she disagrees with you then she'll talk loud and over you and sometimes won't let anyone talk. I just want to shove a hamburger in her mouth and tell her to shut up and let other people talk. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and that's fine, but it's not fair when one party is the only one who gets to express their's. I think Rosie got used to having her own show and she acts like she is running the view. I am extremely happy she is leaving only because the other women are going to have a nervous breakdown from all the fighting. Even Elisabeth could have left as long as one did to stop the fighting. And I will add I was more than pissed about the troop comments and I take it personally b/c my husband is there and he is not a terrorist.

i've got faith you're precise, there is worldwide warming, however the reason being in question. the certainty that there replaced right into a era of severe image voltaic flare pastime for the final 27 to 32 years isn't taken to account because of the fact there is not any longer something which would be accomplished approximately it, yet money would be thrown on the C02 emissions and the theory that it is the full reason. there has been worldwide warming interior the previous however the C02 stages weren't as severe as they at the instant are. And now that the cycle of image voltaic flares has ended and contained in here few years the temps will bypass decrease back to the chilly norm, people will say that the carbon help is working and proceed it. we are residing in very deceptive circumstances.

If you never watched the show then how could you call Elisabeth a bimbette.
People only tuned in, not because they liked the show but just to see what outrageous things Rosie was say. I too had to stop doing that during her fight with Trump. I did not in anyway want to contribute to the shows ratings. I think the show is a farce.

"she did the right thing"....Sure, she got pissy, mad and trashed her dressing room. That sure is doing the "right thing".
No, not gonna slam you---I didnt like Elisabeth much, either. But Rosie got a bit too militant for the market audience. Some of her rants were way off factual base (like the whole conspiracy about "steel melting" she made up...DUH!).
I'm glad I dont have to hear her braying voice every morning as I pass thru the lunch room at work.

Personally - I think the show should just go off now.
When Rosie was named as the new co-host, there was controversy - people thought she would overpower and become the central "ego". Well guess what, that's exactly what happened. She is a loud obnoxious rude person who has turned out to be the real coward. She is the disrespecter of persons who disagree with her.
And as for Elizabeth - well let's put it this way - I would rather my 14 year old daughter follow in her footsteps than Rosie's. We have very few classy young women in our society who speak out their beliefs in a positive way. To me, she is a healthy role model for young women today. She's a bright young working mother - my hat's off to her!

Regardless of how anyone feels about Rosie, what will "The View" be without her? Just Joy and Elizabeth? Doesn't sound very promising. Those 2 don't have what it takes to carry the show.
I think "The View" should be picked up by Fox News, then that way they can stick to their target audience.

Elisabeth was just as passionate about her beliefs, but Rosie kept steamrolling over everything.
Rosie needs to learn that she can have strong opinions without talking over everyone else.
Im glad shes gone, Ill start watching the show again.

I love sincere "passion" too, but Rosie turned passion into obnoxious behavior. Besides being highly insulting to Hasselbeck, she trashes her dressing room after the on-air fight with Hasselbeck and her writer defaced Hasselbeck's pictures in the studio. That's not passion, that's immaturity. And just what did Rosie need a writer for on a show where the dialogue was supposed to be spontaneous and unscripted? Maybe she wasn't as passionate as you think and more in it to get the headlines.
Anyway...good riddance. She was an embarrassment to the show.
