II need the prime-factored form of the number 66, I think it is 3*3*11, however I am not sure if it is that or 3*22 or 3*2*11 can anyone help to let me know if I am right?

2*3*11 is right, those numbers are all prime.


3*22 isnt right because you can still simplify 22 into 2*11.

3*3*11 is 99, because 3 times 3 is 9 and 9 times 11 is 99.

This is how you do it:

66
11 x 6
3 x 2

SO 11 stays like that and 6 breaks down into 3 times 2.

Correct answer is 3*2*11

66 = 2 x 33
66 = 2 x 3 x 11 (is prime factor form)
