At Six Flags Magic Mountain, just north of LA in Valencia, Superman does not go upside down.
You're basically launched straighforward and then the car/track go straight up! The ride is 415' tall and you go about 100mph. :-)
Batman is an inverted coaster that has twins in several other Six Flags parks and a mirror twin in St. Louis. :-) It is a great coaster that keeps moving and has several inversions. I don't find it scary, especially since it's so fast. My favorite seats are on the corners (front left or right and back left or right).

batman is wicked fun and its preety fast but its done in 2 minutes and superman is a wicked scary ride but you will love it and yes it goes upside down but you will love it vote vote vote

I dunno? I read about them in a book though, but,,, The batman is made of wood.
