battlefield earth - absolutely the sorries excuse for a film ever made. I like travolta, Barry Pepper, Forrest Whitaker but this is such garbage.

Funny, I was just discussing this with a co-worker yesterday...
There have only been two movies in which I walked out of and demanded my money back: "The Gate 2" and "Mortal Kombat: Annihilation". I had high expectations of each based on the original films in their respective series, but was left more than disappointed half-way through each. I mean, Nightwolf saying, "It's my animality. Pretty cool, huh?" was the last straw for me in Mortal Kombat! Since I left before each was done showing, I was able to get a refund.
I have yet to see those two movies in their entirety to this day!

My friends & I left during Clueless. It just wasn't our type of film, and we felt it was so predictable. The fact that it was based on an old book completely was lost on us. Hey, we were guys. We then went into see a much worse film called Ghost In The Machine, about a seriel killer who is electrocuted and gets zapped into a super computer where he continues to wreak havoc on the girl who got him captured. It was terrible, but more up to our speed.
I would never ask for my money back, because the theatre doesn't make the film, they just show it. And you are paying them to show you the movie, not to guarantee you will like it. Everyone's opinions are different. So, if the film was broken or unwatchable, then you deserve your money back (that happened to me for Harry Potter 3), but if you just didn't like the movie, well, then, that's not the theatre's fault, nor is it their problem.

Fell asleep during Family Business. Connery, Hoffman, and Broderick. I didn't think it was possible for all 3 of them to make a bad movie at the same time.
Poltergeist 3 - That's 1 hr I will never get back.
