I was getting those everyday, and I called the phone co., and they blocked the text msg. on my phone.

Yes, I've often blocked unwanted texts to my phone. In mine, I go to Messages, Settings, Text messages, and then Block number. Then all I need do is type in the number that I want to block and save it.

If you have a mobile on contract, then you could probably ask the provider if that's possible. If you are being harassed, it might be a good idea to just get a new number.

Yea, you can. However most phones won't allow you to do it manually. A few providers offer a way to do it on their website. Otherwise, call your provider and they can do it for you.

why not call the person and tell them to stop?
if it's someone sending anonymous ones talk to your service provider
if it's someone you know simply ask them to stop
they will feel embarrassed and stunned that you had the nerve to actually ring and say you dont want to hear from them again

yes you need to get your service manual out and this can be done.
